I'm Hunter Blanks. I had more to say a few years ago and I guess it's alright that I don't have as much to say now. I got quieter, maybe.

I just finished my time at Deep Springs. It's a great place to go for your first two years of college. It's only guys though. My friend Mark did the website, if you want to read about it, www.deepsprings.edu.

These days I ponder a classics major and a new scene at Berkeley, and hope that my big job there in cellular networks actually pans out. I like painting, the piano, and I miss wrestling. I ride a motorcycle, a Kawasaki dual-sport. One time from California to Texas, if you can believe it. Sometimes I can't, even.

All my best friends I try to tie in to this place, the Artifex. This server, Artifex.org. A few friends and I have run it since 1997. It's a long time for young people, and I hope it stays longer yet. Nobody else wanted to be the president of it...so, yeah, that's me. We don't meet too often. Need to have a barbecue. In December. Texas, you know.

It took a while to sit down and write this, but I'll try to update it when things change. There are a lot of other things to keep track of, that's all--computer consulting work, a few fond traces of database management and system administration. More importantly old friends and new ones, and correspondences. Even if this page is stale, I'm still keeping up my correspondences. Write me and I'll do my best to write you back the day I get the message. I mean that.
