{"id":1340,"date":"2012-08-17T00:59:21","date_gmt":"2012-08-17T04:59:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/anthony.darrouzet-nardi.net\/scienceblog\/?p=1340"},"modified":"2012-08-17T01:03:48","modified_gmt":"2012-08-17T05:03:48","slug":"a-new-darrouzet-nardi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/scienceblog.darrouzet-nardi.net\/?p=1340","title":{"rendered":"A new Darrouzet-Nardi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Blog&#8217;s been on the back burner recently since the birth of my daughter Cara on June 29th:<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"http:\/\/anthony.darrouzet-nardi.net\/scienceblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/DSC_0179.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So far a successful experiment!<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m at Toolik right now tying up loose ends for the third and final field season of our project. When we arrived on August 11th,\u00a0I was struck at how green it was here, definitely greener than last year at that time. However, within the first couple of days, the landscape turned from green to yellow and is well on its way now to red and brown. We have been busy taking a final round of soil cores and now taking the site down.<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"http:\/\/anthony.darrouzet-nardi.net\/scienceblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/P8166282.jpg\" alt=\"OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Just before arriving here, I had a nice trip to ESA in Portland and saw lots of friends and lots of great talks, particularly by some of my fellow postdocs I&#8217;ve met at Toolik and elsewhere.
